Aprehend® Bed Bug Treatment
A biological add-on to the standard bed bug program — for the cases where it earns its place.
What it is
Aprehend® is a biological product built around a naturally occurring fungus, Beauveria bassiana. It is applied as a targeted band in the places bed bugs travel. Bed bugs pick up the spores as they move, carry them back to their harbourage, and pass them through the population over the following days.
It works over days, not minutes, and it is always used alongside the conventional program — steam, vacuuming, dusting and crack-and-crevice work — never in place of it.
An optional upgrade
Priced above the standard program
Adding Aprehend costs more than the standard bed bug program on its own. It is an upgrade, not the default, and it is not the right spend on every job.
Central Prairie Pest Control will look at the situation and tell you plainly where Aprehend helps — heavy clutter, shared walls in multi-unit buildings, harbourage that is hard to reach — and where a standard program is the better use of your money. We do not promise it is faster, and we do not put a number on it.

Follow-up still applies
Adding Aprehend does not remove the follow-up visits. Eggs keep hatching for roughly two weeks after the first visit, so return visits stay part of the plan either way — they are how newly hatched nymphs get caught before they can breed. Aprehend layers onto that schedule; it does not shorten it.
