How to identify
- Adults are flat, oval and reddish-brown, close to the size and shape of an apple seed.
- After a blood meal they swell and darken.
- Nymphs are smaller and pale until they feed.
- Eggs are pearl-white, about 1 mm, wedged into seams and cracks.

Advanced thermal treatment
We apply professional high-temperature steam directly to the areas where bed bugs and eggs are found — mattresses, box springs, bed frames, furniture, cracks, crevices and other suitable harbourage. Why it matters: steam is the main focus of our treatment. It kills bugs and eggs on contact wherever it actually reaches, including down in fabric and seams a spray cannot get into.
Precision vacuuming
We vacuum live bugs, eggs, shed skins and debris out of the targeted areas and take that material out of the home. Why it matters: physically removing as much of the population as possible up front leaves far less for the rest of the treatment to deal with.
Wall void dusting
Where appropriate we apply a professional dust into accessible wall voids, electrical outlet openings and similar protected harbourage, applied according to the product label. Why it matters: bed bugs shelter and travel through voids and outlet boxes between rooms and between units, and a dust keeps working in those spaces.
Aprehend® treatment
Where appropriate, and with the customer's approval, we add Aprehend® — a professional residual biopesticide that stays active on treated surfaces. Bed bugs that emerge from hiding and cross a treated surface pick up the fungal spores. Why it matters: it reaches bugs we never see, in the days and weeks after the visit, which is exactly the window the scheduled follow-up is there to check.

Prevention
Keep them from coming back
- Keep luggage off the bed and floor when travelling, and check the seams of any bed you sleep in.
- Run travel clothes through a hot dryer as soon as you get home.
- Look over second-hand beds, couches and chairs closely before bringing them inside.
- Cut clutter around the bed and pull the frame slightly off the wall.
- Fit mattress and box spring encasements after treatment.

Do I have to throw out my mattress?
